Our first wedding of 2010 (and one of our final weddings ever!) took place in Pinehurst, North Carolina, just weeks before our move to NC. Kevin + Meg had an amazing weekend - Pinehurst was beautiful, the venues and vendors were as good as they get, and the couple, their friends and family were all amazing people. The love and laughter that filled this weekend was the stuff of dreams - it was certainly one of the best events we could possibly hope to end our filming career on! Kevin + Meg - I'm just amazed at what gracious, warm, and giving people you are! I know you'll have an incredible marriage and life together, and we're honored that you invited us to capture it all for you. June 26, 2009 marked the wedding day of Antwan + KC! It was a beautiful day all around -- beautiful weather, a beautiful couple, beautiful venues, and a beautiful team of vendors! Antwan + KC got ready at the Westin in downtown Cincinnati, had their ceremony at Ault Park, followed by the reception at the Phoenix. They put together an incredibly talented group of vendors, including Dora Manuel and Sara Ranson of Viva Bella Events, Kortnee and Ted Miller of Kortnee Kate Photography, Chenese Bean Makeup Artistry, Katie Elfers Inspired Floral Designs, Motortoys, Incredible Endings, Goodwin Lighting, and DJ Toad. I have known Dan for several years as he worked with another local videography company, and as he recently started out on his own. This short wedding film will make its world premiere showing at a reception in Oregon this weekend! Allison + Nic were married in Cincinnati back in August, and we were privileged to be a part of the wedding day team for this sweet couple. One thing I loved about this wedding was the fact that Nic and his family are Vietnamese. Why is this significant, you ask? Because my mother (Andrew's) is Vietnamese! So as an Asian-American myself, I can only imagine what beautiful babies Allison + Nic will have! ;) It was such a pleasure to work with this couple, their families, and their team of vendors! With the help of Allison's father, Larry, the couple assembled a dream team of vendors, including Brigid Horne-Nestor [1], Rachael Waring [2], Kevin Ford [3], Jimmy's Limo [4], the Ault Trio [5], and Incredible Endings [6]. Pastor Steve Means [7]officiated the ceremony, which took place at the Manor House [8]. I can't stress enough how much more enjoyable and stress-free having this kind of team makes the day, not only for the couple, but for all of the vendors involved! Through the journey of life, there's a few milestone moments that stand out. Life-giving experiences worth celebrating. Life-changing stories worth telling. They usually revolve around the "new." They're about life, love, family. One is the wedding day. The day you take on the role of husband or wife. The day you become one with the person you've chosen to love for life. This is an event that we at 28:20 currently film. We document this day. We tell its story in a form that allows you to enjoy it and preserve it. Another involves the birth of a child. Nothing in life is more miraculous than a life that is created, or given by God. More than an event, it's about a family's journey. And like the wedding day, it deserves to be documented; its story should be told. Beginning now, we're offering to tell this story in a form that allows you to enjoy it and preserve it. Introducing 28:20's new BABY films. When speaking with previous brides, we discovered that the interest in collaborating with us on this type of documentary film was very high. So we decided to test it out.
