One of the things I’ll miss the most about filming weddings is working with couples like Frank + Kimmie. They didn’t just hire us to video their wedding, they invited us to become a part of their wedding weekend, and film it while we were there! We headed down to Louisville on Friday afternoon, attended the rehearsal, filmed the rehearsal dinner at the Captain’s Quarters, spent the night in the Hyatt Regency downtown, then had a full 12 hours with the couple on Saturday. Twelve hours is a long day no matter how you slice it, so having such a fun and amazingly sweet couple makes it more of a pleasure as opposed to hard labor! It was fun navigating a totally new city for us, and we enjoyed working with photographer extraordinaire Todd Nichols. Here’s a little glimpse into their fun-filled day!
