If you’ve kept up with us over the past couple months, you know that I had the privilege of being in my best friend John’s wedding last month. John + Karen live in Springfield, Missouri, where my wife Annette and I met and got married. It’s also the city where we met John and became great friends back in college.

This video tells the story of John + Karen’s two beginnings: (1) their first date, and (2) the proposal that would lead to their new life together. The stories and locations are all intertwined!

We shot this video just days prior to their March 28th wedding, with the intention of showing it at the reception. Time and technical difficulties prevented this, but better late than never! The footage was shot with our new Panasonic HD cameras, so it will give you a taste of the upgrade in quality. We’ll be posting some footage of the ceremony soon, as well.
