We LOVE getting your input on music! In fact, we ask for it. Nothing can make or break a video like song selection. It really determines the way we edit a piece, whether it’s more slow and emotional, or more upbeat and fun. We do ask for editorial and creative control over the production of your film, so we prefer to have a selection of songs from which to choose. Seeing the footage and having a vision for how to edit it depends a great deal on music, so we may find that one song “fits” better than another. But by all means, if you have specific songs you want us to incorporate, we’ll definitely do our best to use them! (Unless you ask for “Butterfly Kisses,” then we may not be able to help you.)

Music does tend to get overlooked in the planning process, at least when it comes to the wedding video. As your day approaches, keep your ears open for songs that would be a perfect fit for your wedding film. This is your one chance to help build the soundtrack for the most meaningful film you’ll ever own!
