September rolled in, and 28Twenty rolled out! To Florida, that is. Our long-awaited destination wedding shoot in Destin, Florida, took place last week. Tempal & Nick had a gorgeous beach ceremony that we were privileged to film on Saturday, Sept 6. Despite the threat of hurricanes all week, we managed to avoid rain altogether for an incredible week of sun and surf!

Our original plans had Annette and me camping out with our boys at Henderson Beach State Park, the same location where the wedding would take place. But the prospect of Hurricane Gustav forced the park to close, and us to scramble to change plans! So instead, we made a stop on our way south at Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We camped here for a couple nights before continuing on to Florida late in the week.

We weren’t able to do much behind-the-scenes shooting, as our plans were turned upside down! But here are some of my favorite random shots of our kids, the beach, and the white sand of Destin!

FYI — Tempal & Nick will be having a Cincinnati reception later this month, at which time we’ll show video from their big day. Stay tuned for footage of 28Twenty on location!
