FIVE YEARS is a long time. Can you think back to where you were, what you were doing 5 years ago? The only thing I remember about 2003 is the Buckeyes winning the National Championship!

Oh, something else big happened that year – we had our first child! Isaiah Andrew was born on May 13.

We’re not much for big, overhyped celebrations, so we had a small birthday party on Sunday. Isaiah wanted his 3 closest friends and an Iron Man cake (we saw the movie together and loved it), so that’s what he got! We also threw in some Little Caesar’s pizza (cheap & good – can’t beat it!) and we hit the park for the afternoon.

Nothing big — except for our incredible kid, who’s ready to hit kindergarden and the world!
