This morning proved to be a little disappointing. By 9:30 AM, I had received two inquiries, but both were dates we already have booked! I hate when this happens! But as my optimistic wife pointed out, the calls keep coming, so with that I am pleased.

Another thing that softened the blow of disappointment was the email response by one of these young ladies:

Hey Andrew…thank you so much for getting back to me and really showing interest! …And just in case I didn’t mention it before, your work is simply amazing. I enjoyed the samples you have on your site immensely and anyone having the privilege to acquire your services is very lucky.”

Are you serious? Amazing? You enjoyed it immensely? The privilege of acquiring my services? Ok, I admit, that doesn’t even sound real! But thank you, Karen! I love hearing it!

I was also happy to receive our brand spankin’ new business card magnets today. They look SWEET! (Let me know if you need to replace any lame old magnets on your fridge!)

So there’s “the bright side” for today! Here’s to a good night’s sleep and hopefully some more bright moments tomorrow…
